Another frequent place a favorite when brother is in town lemon rice soup.We brought Mom here for Dave's Father's Day and he had shrimp .All the soups are wonderful.Again I praise the service .Thank you to the steer for hiring decent people.Who give you a warm inviting homelike atmosphere.And always welcome you back.

Love breakfast food. Very dirty. All the trim work, light fixtures over tables, and the decorative plant/flowers have a pound of dirt on them. #GROSS

I went here and they did not want to accommodate me on my meal. I wanted a specialty made and they refused. I normally eat at Indiana Restaurant located in East Chicago on the Indianapolis boulevard. Where they take care of their customers as if they were family. All I wanted was two more slices of French toast added and they made a issue... only because it was Sunday and normal place was closed is why I chose a new place but went so wrong. If you stop in@Indy Restaurant tell Tony the owner SCREECHY F BABY sent you and get took care of how you like... Oh yeah and let them know you want my "usual order but full" and see how affordable and delicious a breakfast can be. Enjoy!!!!!

Purple Steer has an awesome breakfast menu. They are very economical in pricing. This allows the average family to visit on the weekend and not break the bank. There pancakes are light, buttery, and fluffy. It's like biting down on a cloud. They are heavenly! The bacon is always cooked to a perfected crisp and hash browns are light and crispy. I definitely will be returning again in the future. I encourage you to come in for a visit as well.

My friend and I always stop for a slightly guilt-less lunch of soup and salad!!! They have the best Lemon Rice soup!!! The dinner rolls are always warm and fresh!!
